Customer Quick Start: Create Your First Design and Order
A. Create an account
Open https://superfriday.com/ and select Get Started.
Choose Continue with Google, or complete the full name, email, password and confirm-password fields.
Follow the prompts to complete registration, then sign in. Keep your sign-in details private.
B. Choose a product
Open Catalog. Search or use the category filters to find an item.
Select Information on its card. Read the product specifications, artwork dimensions, DPI and shipping rates.
Select Build Your Artwork on the product page, or open Artwork Builder. Check which product is selected; the link may open the general builder, so select the intended product if necessary.
C. Prepare the design
Select your product in the builder. Confirm the Canvas Size shown.
Use Choose File under Upload Image to select your artwork.
To add wording, expand Text Tools, enter it in Add Text and select Add to Canvas. Review the available font, size and colour settings.
Review your layers and composition. Check that the design fits the product template and that text is spelled correctly.
Use View Mockups where available to review placement. Treat the mockup as a preview, then inspect a printed sample.
Select Save when enabled and follow any prompts. ACCOUNT-ONLY CHECK: verify the saved artwork’s location, naming options and confirmation message.
D. Place a sample order — account-only sequence to verify
Use the manual ordering route in your signed-in dashboard. Confirm the actual menu and button names before publishing these instructions.
Choose your product, variant and quantity of one; associate the correct saved artwork.
Enter your own sample delivery details and review the available shipping option.
Check the final product, artwork, shipping charge and total. Follow the account’s payment and order-submission prompts.
Verify that an order reference and accepted status appear. Confirm what happens if payment or artwork approval is still pending.
E. Prepare for customer orders — account-only sequence to verify
For Shopify, follow your account setup instructions. For Order Desk, use section F below. Verify your chosen route with a controlled order before relying on automatic fulfilment.
For manual fulfilment, check each customer order and enter it through the verified dashboard ordering route.
Confirm order acceptance and available dispatch/tracking information. Verify how tracking reaches the selling channel and customer.
F. Connect SuperFriday through Order Desk — documented setup
In Order Desk, open Manage Integrations → Print on Demand and enable SuperFriday. Enter your SuperFriday API key and select Connect to SuperFriday. Obtain the key from SuperFriday.
Choose Default Mail Class. Use Shipping Class Match for channel shipping names; unmatched names use the default. Select folders for submitted, shipped and cancelled orders.
Required item data: print_sku (SuperFriday product code), print_url_1 (artwork link), and print_location_1 (approved print position). Number matching fields for additional files, up to six. Optional fields include print_preview_1, print_ppi_1 (default 150), color and size. Confirm product codes and location values with SuperFriday.
Prepare accessible artwork links and follow the product template. Match your shop SKU to the printer’s product code; they are different identifiers. In Order Desk, open an order item, add the print details as variations and select Save Item.
Submit a controlled order through the integration. Check Order History for successful submission, rather than only a scheduled event. Correct any reported error before proceeding.
For repeat orders, store the print details against your inventory SKUs and check Add Inventory Details to Order Items in Store Settings. Only introduce automatic submission after the manual test works.
Shipment details return to Order Desk and, where supported, the originating shop. SuperFriday-specific rules include Submit Order to SuperFriday and submission-error events. Configure review rules appropriate to your workflow.

Fees: Order Desk charges separately. Pricing checked on 6 October 2026: Starter $20/month plus $0.25/order; Pro $60/month plus $0.10/order; Plus $125/month plus $0.05/order. Check https://www.orderdesk.com/pricing/ for current terms.
Operational check: confirm artwork hosting, billable test-order arrangements, acceptance into production and tracking behaviour with your accounts. These steps are documentation-based, not a completed live integration test.
Suggested troubleshooting
Wrong canvas dimensions: check the selected product and use its current template.
Poor image quality: start from a higher-resolution original instead of enlarging a small image.
Save unavailable: check that artwork exists on the canvas; confirm any sign-in or other requirements shown by the site.
Order not visible: check that the order was submitted to the correct account and that required payment/approval steps completed; contact support if the status is unclear.
